GV Gold hopes gold output to rise 3–7% to 8.9–9.2 tns in 2022
MOSCOW, Feb 1 (PRIME) -- Russian gold producer GV Gold and its subsidiaries plan to increase gold production by 3.3–6.9% on the year to 285,000–295,000 ounces, or 8.9–9.2 tonnes, in 2022, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
In 2021, GV Gold produced 276,200 ounces, or 8.585 tonnes, of gold. Ore mining increased by 47% to 12.733 million tonnes, and processing fell by 3% to 10.206 million tonnes.
Gold sales fell by 9% to 252,000 ounces with the average sales price of U.S. $1,742 per ounce. Revenue from gold sales dropped by 6.6% to $440 million.
